新營波光節 Xingying Shimmer Festival
考察過往新營逝去，與還尚存的歷史悠久產業商標並虛構霓虹燈化，並LED發光面板區塊散佈於著名地標天鵝湖廣場入口。
將過往曾經存在的名稱與圖像重新翻新，並藉由高亮度面板的播放虛構霓虹光線呈現「過期未來主義」的時空錯置感，同時利用零碎的面板區塊，時而聚合，時而各自分散的時空敘事，呈現統一又錯落的敘事與視覺效果。
Through field research in Sin-iânn (Taiwanese Hokkien for Xinying), this project examines both the vanished and still-existing historical industrial logos of the region. These visual remnants are reimagined and transformed into fictional neon renderings, presented on LED light panels dispersed throughout the entrance plaza of the iconic Swan Lake landmark.
By reviving once-familiar names and symbols through hyper-bright digital neon light, the work conjures a sense of " Futurism Out-of-date"—a temporal dislocation that overlays the forgotten past with imagined futures. The fragmented LED panel units, which at times cluster and at other times scatter across space, construct a narrative that is both unified and disjointed. This rhythm of convergence and dispersion echoes the layered urban memory of Xinying, producing a visual and spatial choreography of fragmented time and misaligned history.
