我所強調的日常經驗,也就是外在現實與藝術作品之間的關係,又亟欲將對象與現象抽象化、形式化、本質化,於是電子招牌成了繪畫性與立體現實之間的連結,符號的實體性和遍布的電子紋理,到了晚上散發絕佳的光暈,它醒目又模糊地標示出三重和新莊分界的地方工業感,同時是自己每次回家/出門經過重新橋,在時間敘事下產生白天與夜晚截然不同的視覺感受。
保留廣告的構成元素並給予分割,我嘗試將招牌明暗的時間週期投射在三度空間,打造立體與平面之間不同的度量標準,同時也是訊息轉換對感知過程的探測。
The everyday experience I emphasized is the relationship between
the outer reality and the artwork. And I also like to make the subject and
phenomenon more abstract, more formalist and closer to its nature. Hence the
electronic signboard became a link between pictorial and three-dimensional
reality. The entity of the symbol and electronic texture shining through the
night, it was eye-catching but simultaneously vaguely revealed the localized
industrial feel between the border of SanChong and HsinChuang. Whenever I go
home or leave home and pass by ChonghSin Bridge, the narrative of time created
a different visual experience during the day and during the night.
I kept some of the constructed elements of advertisement and
dissected them. I attempted to project the time and duration of the glowing and
diming of the signboard onto a three-dimensional space. It was to create the
different measuring standard between three-dimensional and two-dimensional
space. It was also an exploration on the transformation of information into
experiential process.
